Prachenske Museum Pisek: exp. Baroque

The exhibition is in the museum environment quite extraordinary. The tradition of royal art galleries in our countries dates back to medieval times. All sixteen extant paintings are installed in a chronological sequence of portraits of rulers. Their genealogical relationships (mythical and historical) shows a clear pattern made on a separate panel.

The exhibition includes the royal picture gallery has a set of original Baroque statues of saints from Pнsek Stone Bridge, which for permanent installation on loan from the town of Pisek.
